Limits and useful details
EAN-13 accepts 12 data digits or 13 digits including the check digit. EAN-8 accepts 7 or 8 digits. Code 128 accepts 1–80 printable ASCII characters. Files retain the generated dimensions; SVG scales without pixelation. Test the original side margins and final print size with your scanner.
Generating an EAN image does not register a product number with GS1. Use numbers you are entitled to use. A valid check digit does not prove a number is assigned to your product.
Questions before you generate?
