Choose Code 128 when appropriate
Code 128 represents letters, numbers and printable ASCII punctuation. It can be useful for internal stock labels such as BOX-2026-014. Kuyom accepts 1–80 printable ASCII characters and rejects unsupported Unicode characters. Use a consistent naming convention to avoid ambiguous identifiers.
Keep the scope clear
The generator creates ordinary Code 128. It does not configure GS1-128 application identifiers or FNC1 separators. If your logistics partner requires GS1-128, use a tool built for that specification and validate its data requirements. Creating a label does not link it to an inventory database.
Test the complete workflow
Download PNG or SVG and scan with the scanner your team actually uses. Check that punctuation, case and leading zeroes arrive correctly in your software. Longer values create wider symbols; avoid compressing the image horizontally. Maintain the blank area on both sides and print at a readable size.
