From content to code

Create a QR code for a website

Choose a stable destination, keep a clear margin and test the finished code.

Start with the final destination

Enter the complete https:// address. Kuyom encodes that address directly; it does not fetch the page or add a tracking redirect. Avoid encoding a temporary sign-in link, a private document link or a URL that will soon expire. For example, use https://example.com/menu for a stable menu page.

Keep the code readable

Choose PNG for a message or digital document, and SVG for a print layout. The generator keeps a four-module white quiet zone around the QR symbol. Do not crop that border or place text on top of it. Dense or long links produce more modules; shortening your own stable URL can help.

Test the destination

Scan the downloaded image on two phones before sharing it. Confirm that the destination opens with HTTPS and shows the expected page. These codes are static: changing the entered address requires generating a new code. A permanent URL on a website you control can keep the printed destination useful while the page content changes.
