Use the actual network settings
Select Wi-Fi and enter the network name exactly, including spaces and capital letters. Choose WPA/WPA2, WEP or an open network to match the router. The generator escapes punctuation in the Wi-Fi payload. A hidden network needs the hidden-network option enabled. This format is supported by many phone cameras, but not every device.
Treat the image as a credential
The password is encoded in readable form inside the QR symbol; QR is not encryption. Anyone who receives the image may extract it. A guest network is often more appropriate for visitors than your main network. Kuyom processes these values in your browser and does not send them to its server.
Verify before display
Scan the downloaded PNG or SVG with a phone that is not already connected. Confirm the right network and successful connection. If the router password changes, generate and replace the printed code. Delete the browser result after use, and avoid including the Wi-Fi code in public screenshots.
